S&SHARK.

I worked on a story writing app concept where I designed the Raccoon mascot character. He was used in various illustrations for the app that showcased story concepts and story outlines. 📖

Raccoon character illustrating story tropes including: Man vs Man, Man vs Nature and Man vs Self

Below are the illustrated scenes that outline the classic hero’s journey story setup.

Beat 1: Main character is in a state of stability.
Beat 2: However, there is something that he wants.
Beat 3: He begins his journey into the unknown.
Beat 4: Our hero overcomes many obstacles on his quest.
Beat 5: The hero obtains the object of his desire.
Beat 6: The hero returns, triumphant.

I  also did illustrations for story genres. 🦝

science fiction
mystery
horror
adventure

I also like to get off the computer every now and then (what a concept), and make traditional art. Below are some ink drawings I’ve done. ✒️

Mega Sableye protecting its gems in a dark cave.
Adventure!
Oh how the fireflies glow.
Jon Snow with Jeor Mormont's raven.
Daenerys I Targaryen and Drogon.

During the pandemic, many of my friends were playing Animal Crossing (who wasn’t?) and wanted specific villagers. I made them custom amiibo cards with NFC stickers on the back so that they could get the characters they wanted in their game. 🎮

I either mailed them to their homes or dropped them off (practicing safe social distancing during those early days!)

Extinct and Endangered animals of the world.
Human picking.

And some more digital illustrations.

Promo art done for Richard Pizza's Hungry Games social media.
Ivysaur, from my favorite starter line.
Logo/promo art for ODIN, a web application for TRADOC.
Promo art for Kitty Hawk, a virtual flying simulator.
I wanted to make something as generically 50s as I could, after going on a Mad Men binge while working at an ad agency in Manhattan.
My coworker Henry and his team of favorite Pokémon.
